Every piece by Marin Pura is unique, crafted as a one-of-a-kind creation. The process of making each work is constantly spontaneous and alive, in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment.
The source of inspiration is often the raw material itself - it guides us toward what it should become. A branch found in the woods, bearing a striking resemblance to a forest creature, eventually takes the shape of that very being. Adding luminous elements breathes life into it, imbuing it with a sense of mystery - it truly is a magical process.
Often, a piece started with one idea takes on a completely different form by the end.
Surrendering to the creative process and watching as the work creates itself - this is the greatest source of joy and the impulse that feeds the brand's existence.
Natural Materials
Nature is full of treasures, and our creations are born from them. Our range of materials is diverse: branches,fruits, leaves, roots, and bark; dried plants and various types of moss that, through stabilization, retain their original texture and color.
Pieces of wood found in riverbeds or by the sea, naturally weathered by the water, are works of art in themselves. They are harmoniously combined with stones, pebbles, shells, and natural minerals such as amethyst, tiger’s eye, jasper, and agate.
Working with the macramé technique is a meditation for us-one that could last forever.
The choice of materials is endless-from plaster and papier-mâché to epoxy resin-allowing each piece to achieve both durability and artistic perfection.
