The Leo sculpture is a one-of-a-kind handmade art object inspired by the zodiac sign of Leo and the ancient archetype of the lion — a symbol of primal power, instinct, and sovereignty.

Neither entirely human, nor entirely animal, the face embodies something ancient in between. It evokes a forgotten guardian, a being suspended between the human world and the untamed forces of nature.

Sculpted through layers of plaster and papier-mâché, the surface carries an organic, weathered character, while spruce bark, stabilized moss, and dried reed bring the textures of the natural world into the composition.

The interplay of rough surfaces and natural materials gives the piece the presence of an ancient totem — a silent figure that feels as though it has survived from another time.

More than a zodiac-inspired decoration, this sculpture explores the boundary between human identity and animal instinct, civilization and wilderness, the familiar and the primordial.

Designed to stand as a distinctive sculptural presence within an interior, Leo brings a sense of mystery, raw character, and elemental energy to a desk, shelf, console, or display space.
